Afua is a Co-founder and Managing Partner of Koranteng & Koranteng Legal Advisors, a corporate/commercial law firm in Ghana. She is a corporate lawyer with 20 years of experience, with expertise in corporate law, telecoms infrastructure, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, corporate governance and company secretarial services. In 2021, she led the firm advising the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Ghana on its successful $3b Sovereign Bond. Afua currently advises the Ghana Infrastructure Investment Fund on refinancing certain infrastructure projects. Prior to co-founding Koranteng & Koranteng, Afua was a Partner at CQ Legal & Consulting, a leading corporate/commercial law firm in Ghana. She also worked with JLD & MB and Sey & Co and served as Head of Legal and Company Secretary for ATC Ghana, a subsidiary of the NYSE-listed American Tower Corporation. Afua holds an LLB from the University of Kent and an LLM from the University of Warwick. She is a member of the Ghana Bar Association, the English and Welsh Bar.
